The
Benefactory is a publisher of children's books,
audiotapes, plush toys and video cassettes. Children
who are read to, learn to love reading, so The Benefactory
provides on-line storytellings with renowned musician,
Tom Chapin. ALL children love true stories about
real living animals. The Benefactory also provides
creative activities, word games, opportunities to
chat with our talent, and the opportunity for children
to be published. We welcome feedback from families,
teachers, librarians, storytelling mentors and volunteers,
and especially, children.

1997, The Benefactory's authors and illustrators were
invited by The America Reads Challenge to read our true
stories to schoolchildren at the fourteen pilot sites.
We read stories aloud to over 27,000 children that year! |
